    Guido Grinbaum is an Industrial Engineer with a Master in Finance.

    He worked for Unilever and Pepsi in Marketing positions in Latin America for more than 10 years.

    He was founder of several Start Ups: DeRemate.com (sold in 2008), Baazee.com (sold in 2004), Dineromail.com (sold in 2006), Dridco: ZonaJobs, ZonaProp, Demotores, ZonaCitas (Sold in 2014), Covedisa (sold in 2015).

    In March 2015 he launched YOP, a C2C Mobile Only Marketplace for Brazil and Latin America.

    After finishing his Master of Arts as an interaction designer in the 90s of last century, Ilja discovered the power of the internet. Coming from an area without mobile phones, social media and being online 24/7, it was clear to him that a lot was going to change very quickly.

    He has been a new media entrepreneur for about 10 years. Amongst others he setup and ran a mobile development company, and founded the mobile- and browser games company Virtual Fairground.

    He joined TUNE as Director of Market Development and has recently moved to head up the sales team in EMEA, LATAM and India.

    Hernan Kazah is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Kaszek Ventures, a Venture Capital firm focused in the technology industry in Latin America.

    Before Kaszek Ventures, he cofounded MercadoLibre (Nasdaq: MELI), Latin America’s largest ecommerce and online payments platform, where he worked for 12 years – first 9 years as COO and last 3 years as CFO.
    Prior to this, Mr. Kazah worked as Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Co. and was a finance analyst at the United Nations Development Program and in a stock brokerage firm.

    He currently sits on the board of several technology firms such as Technisys, BelezaNaWeb, DrConsulta, PetLove, Kekanto, Zup and is also a board member at Lavca (Latin American Venture Capital Association).

    Mr. Kazah received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.

    He was selected Endeavor Entrepreneur in 1999, chosen Established Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2009, and awarded “The Outstanding Young Persons of Argentina” recognition by the Junior Chamber International in 2004.

    Based in San Francisco, he is an expert in start-ups and brand positioning he specializes in product launch strategy, events/experiential, social, digital, news and content marketing.

    In 2014 clients included Marketo, the leader in marketing software and solutions, Visa, the leading global payments company and Viewpost, an early stage start-up aimed to disrupt the way business sends and receives payments.

    He spent the previous three years at Apptera, mobile audio advertising and mobile app developer company recently acquired by a global consulting firm, where he launched 2 mobile apps on Apple and Android and led digital, social and integrated communications.

    Prior to Apptera he spent five years working in various roles in start-ups (SendMe Mobile, LetsTalk Inc and Direct Agents) based in San Francisco and New York developing messaging, strategy, brand voice and advertising.

    Romero Rodrigues is Co-Founder and Chairman of Buscapé Company, a comparison shopping service launched in 1999. The company did 20+ acquisitions (from payments to classifieds) and received four rounds of investments during the last 16 years. In 2009, Naspers, a South African group, acquired 91% of Buscapé in a valuation of USD 374 MM. In Nov/2013, Rodrigues became Global CEO of Comparison Shopping of Naspers. Buscapé incorporated all Naspers’ comparison shopping assets, becoming the world leader in its category. Romero is responsible for 1,200+ employees in 20+ emerging markets including Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Poland, Czech, Ukraine, Turkey, Italy, South Africa and Nigeria.

    Rodrigues also dedicates time to Endeavor, a NGO he acts as a mentor and board member. He is also board member of Wayfair (NYSE:W), TOTVS (BVMF:TOTS3), Neogrid and Movile.

    As an active angel investor, Romero invested in 25 start-ups investments in Brazil, United States, UK and South Africa.

    Romero Rodrigues has a BSc in Electrical Engineering at Escola Politecnica of University of São Paulo.

    Luiz Marcelo da Costa Correia (usually known as LM) was born in Curitiba, Brazil. He is Electronic Engineer (UFPR – Brazil with honor) with MBA in Marketing (FGV – Brazil), with specializations in Business Adm (IDP – UCBerkeley – USA), Strategic Leadership (ISE Business School – in company – Brazil) and Innovation (UniAndes University – in company – Colombia). He is a senior executive with international experience in various segments such as digital, media, telecom, mobile, advertising, innovation, start-ups, and the technology industry. Also, he is advisor for startups.

    Currently, he is leading the LATAM Digital Experience department based in São Paulo for McDonald’s. The previous job was in Carvajal, a Colombian Group, to start and develop in 2006 the Brazilian Digital Business Unit, building a business unit with almost 100 professionals organized in Planning & Control, Marketing, Sales & Support and Operation. In 2011, he became the LATAM head of mobile to support the mobile initiatives of the company. In 2012, he worked as the head of digital products and partnership for Brazil. Before Carvajal, he worked as Marketing Director for Aplauso company based in Brasília. In Telecom segment, he worked for TIM – Telecom Italia Mobile as senior marketing manager and VAS product manager. As the main achievements in TIM, Luiz Marcelo was one of the main responsible for the GSM start-up operation in Center-West region based in Brasília, he launched the first pre-paid mobile plan to the Southern Brazil, he launched many digital products and new business as SMS, WAP and content delivery (Rio de Janeiro) and he worked directly in the Brazilian Telecom privatization process.

    He is very connected with the market and with the main digital players. Since 2011, he supports the Mobile Marketing Association – MMA as LATAM director board member. Also, in 2014 he was the president of mobile committee Brazil of the Interactive Advertising Bureau – IAB and now in 2015 as a committee member. He is engaged with this two associations in order to accelerate the transformation and innovation of marketing through digital.

    An internet powerhouse, with more than 350 million youtube views, Rogerio Vilela is a comedian, illustrator, writer, comic book artist, actor, voice actor and a squeaky-clean, well-shaven flight attendant. His funny bonebegan with his pencil, as he published his first comic strips at Folha de S. Paulo, one of Brazil’s major newspapers. It was ground zero, and he’s working non-stop since than, publishing comic books in Brazil and also in the US. Vilela started the content hub Fábrica de Quadrinhos over 15 years ago; amongst it’s most popular creations is Mundo Canibal (or Cannibal World), one of the biggest animation websites in Brazil and major reference for non-PC humour. Vilela also has a number of awards as illustrator, comic bok artist, writer and short film director. He hosted a comedy show at 89 FM radio. He was a reporter at the entertainment TV show Brothers, and was part of MTV, Comedy Central and Record TV shows as well. At Multishow Channel, Vilela wrote and directed Mundo Canibal TV and is still part of the Fritada gang. As one of the top stand up comedians of the new generation, Vilela is known for his sharp and definitely un-PC writing.

    His most recent solo effort, O Último dos Canimais (The Last of the Cannibals), recently released as part of Netflix’s programming, is being performed for a sold out audience around Brazil. You can catch Rogerio Vilela live in Sao Paulo, every Friday night, at the comedy club Pikadero.
