Luiz Marcelo da Costa CorreiaLuiz Marcelo da Costa Correia (usually known as LM) was born in Curitiba, Brazil. He is Electronic Engineer (UFPR – Brazil with honor) with MBA in Marketing (FGV – Brazil), with specializations in Business Adm (IDP – UCBerkeley – USA), Strategic Leadership (ISE Business School – in company – Brazil) and Innovation (UniAndes University – in company – Colombia). He is a senior executive with international experience in various segments such as digital, media, telecom, mobile, advertising, innovation, start-ups, and the technology industry. Also, he is advisor for startups.
Currently, he is leading the LATAM Digital Experience department based in São Paulo for McDonald’s. The previous job was in Carvajal, a Colombian Group, to start and develop in 2006 the Brazilian Digital Business Unit, building a business unit with almost 100 professionals organized in Planning & Control, Marketing, Sales & Support and Operation. In 2011, he became the LATAM head of mobile to support the mobile initiatives of the company. In 2012, he worked as the head of digital products and partnership for Brazil. Before Carvajal, he worked as Marketing Director for Aplauso company based in Brasília. In Telecom segment, he worked for TIM – Telecom Italia Mobile as senior marketing manager and VAS product manager. As the main achievements in TIM, Luiz Marcelo was one of the main responsible for the GSM start-up operation in Center-West region based in Brasília, he launched the first pre-paid mobile plan to the Southern Brazil, he launched many digital products and new business as SMS, WAP and content delivery (Rio de Janeiro) and he worked directly in the Brazilian Telecom privatization process.
He is very connected with the market and with the main digital players. Since 2011, he supports the Mobile Marketing Association – MMA as LATAM director board member. Also, in 2014 he was the president of mobile committee Brazil of the Interactive Advertising Bureau – IAB and now in 2015 as a committee member. He is engaged with this two associations in order to accelerate the transformation and innovation of marketing through digital.
Yan DiYan Di, President of Brazil O2O Association and CEO of Baidu Brasil, has more than 15 years of progressively responsible experience setting up Brazilian subsidiaries and directing business expansions in multinationals of Telecom, IT and Internet in Brazil. Among his previous positions, Yan served as Marketing Executive of Huawei do Brasil, a Fortune 500 multinational manufacturer of telecom equipment. He was CEO of Tenda do Brasil, a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of consumer routing products. Yan Di holds a B.A. degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU).

Manoel LemosBefore joining the Redpoint eventure’s partnership, Manoel was the Chief Digital Officer of Abril Media, the second largest media conglomerate in Brazil. An entreprenuer, Manoel founded and developed BlogBlogs, the world’s largest indexer of blogs in Portuguese. BlogBlogs was acquired by Abril / Naspers and originated WebCo, the first Brazilian start-up focused on the development of Web 2.0 products with a strong Silicon Valley inspired culture. Manoel led WebCo as founder and CEO.
Before BlogBlogs, Manoel was the CTO for Hypercom Brasil, a leading provider of payment solutions for the credit card and banking industries. Earlier in his career Manoel worked as software engineer, solutions architect and Internet specialist for local companies, the Brazilian government and the European Community.
Manoel is also the founder and chief-maker of Fazedores.com, the first portal dedicated to the Brazilian Maker Movement community, which aims to promote the maker culture in Brazil and be the hub for Brazilian makers to exchange ideas, collaborate on and show projects.
Manoel received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from UNICAMP where he also did several years of research and has an incomplete masters degree in high performance computing. He holds an ACE from the Sloan Business School at MIT and participated in executive education on Strategy for Media Companies at Harvard Business School and Venture Capital at Haas Business School in University of California Berkeley.
